I often think about this and it causes a lot of anxiety every time. I’m 23 years old and never had a job for many reasons. I have had migraines since I was 14 years old, and the frequency and intensity changes through the years and months and weeks. I have best and worst periods of time, but it all summaries to not knowing when it’s going to hit. I started uni in 2015, and I changed to another degree in 2018. For me, 2016 and 2017 were two completely lost years due to migraines, and I can’t really remember them well. I never thought about applying to a job, because I didn’t know if I was going to be able to keep up, thinking that I would be incapable most of the time.
Lately, I’ve been managing better, only having migraines two or three times a month. I’m currently studying Industrial Design Engineering and I will finish my degree next year. I would like to apply to a job now, but I’m scared to get out there because of COVID, as my mother is risky. It seems like there’s always something on the way, which only makes me feel worse.
Do any of you have any tips or recommendations as to what type of job I could apply for? I would do freelancing from home, but what scares me is that I have no idea how to start or even what to do.
