I have a long, hard to pronounce foreign name. I don't wanna state my name online, but the shortened version of my name is a lot easier and I prefer to be called that anyway. I don't want to mislead a potential employer if this is not my legal name. However, I feel like I am more likely to get a response or call if I don't put my legal name.
Does anyone have experience with this or advise? Will they look me up and see that I don't exist? Or is there a better way to disclose this on the resume?
