I applied for a biosecurity officer job in February and made it to the final stage of the application. However, due Covid-19 Australia went into lockdown and essentially the application process was halted. The last time I heard from them was in July when they sent an email stating:
"Due to the extraordinary circumstances relating to the current COVID-19 pandemic, this recruitment process has been delayed, and we are currently unable to provide a timeframe by when an outcome can be communicated.
Thank you for your understanding, and the department will be in contact again as soon as we are able to do so."
It has now been 3 months and I'm not sure how I should follow through? Should I send an email stating I would still be interested in the job (if offered) or should I just cut my losses?
