I just got out of an interview with a company I could never see myself working for. They were dodgy about the pay, hours, job description, and total commute. However I feel like I just got out of a Tony Robbins seminar because the HR director was a really good dude, and full of insight into what makes a person successful. He got me to view some of my past mistakes in a different light and for that I am thankful.
It inspired me to start a small journal of sorts, cataloging all of my interviews. I'm keeping track of the things I did wrong, and the things I learned. I'm already looking back on these with a mixture of facepalm/confidence I won't make the same mistake again. I feel like at the very least I can get stronger after every interview, which is better than being down in the dumps with little to no data.
