I'm a tower technician, I'm 28, I'm having a hard time keeping my physical and mental energy going after 4 hours. Today I had 80oz of mountain dew (* 308 grams of sugar ), 2 20oz Gatorades ( 100 grams of sugar ), 2 nature valley xl pb granola bars, 1 hillshire genoa salami cracker and cheese lunchable, 1 pb uncrustable, 1 20 oz powerade ( 30 grams of sugar *).
I get to a point where mentally I don't know what I am or what I'm doing, and physically I can barely move. This is dangerous. But I need this job. I've been unemployed for a while and did nothing but sit at home playing video games, so part of me thinks that this is just a lack of physical endurance that can be improved upon in time. But the other part of me thinks I have a metabolism disorder. I am 180lbs, 6'0", and am not gaining any weight.
