How to decide your minimum compensation

Ok so I applied for a job last night and they emailed me today to take a questionnaire and one of the questions is regarding my compensation expectations

I currently get paid $16.25 at my retail position but I’ve been there for 3 years and I literally don’t have any other experience and I’m not in school, but I do feel like I should set the bar a little higher for this new position but I don’t wanna be too pushy with a high pay and I also don’t want to sell myself short and miss out on more pay if I were to get this position.

What should I do or how should I decide my minimum pay if I get a new job.
