Hi,
I am (24f) and have been struggling to find a career path.
I have genuine work experience working as a barista, and working in a warehouse (forklift driving and assistant to the shipper). I also have an associates degree in Political Science.
I have really struggled trying to find some job path that I would actually be interested in. I have some interests that could be jobs, but would require years and years of schooling that I am not capable of, Like working for animal sanctuaries or for some local fish hatcheries that promote sustainability and provide education. The jobs there are either phd/masters positions, or unpaid volunteer jobs and I know it's insanely hard to make those happen. (I am looking around for volunteer positions just to do for enjoyment in my free time).
Recently I have been on the job hunt and one field that does actually interest me is carpentry ( I remember wood working was fun in high school). I don't know if I am being naive thinking I could try to build a career in this field, but I would appreciate any advice, it is rare that I get genuinely interested in something career related haha.
Thank you!
