I just got my degree in electrical engineering but it looks less and less likely that I’m going to get a job even related to it. I’ve sent 300-400 applications in over the past 5 months and only got a couple interviews that didn’t go anywhere. If I take another job, I feel like it’s going to be impossible to get back into the field in a few years when jobs open up again. What do I do? I’d like to work in something close to my degree but it doesn’t seem possible right now. How do I get back into the field if I’m out for a few years?
