Submitting my success story to counterbalance all the pessimism here. Just accepted a really good offer after leaving my cv on a company's system one year ago (because why not?), they didn't even know I doubled my salary in that year and got two other certifications at that time.
Don't give up guys, I know most of the time all the effort applying seems useless but I just got my life completely changed because I took 5 minutes throwing my CV on a database.
Set up specific job alerts and do it everyday, I know it sucks but it might pay off!
