Thank you email during weekend? (weird situation)

I had a job interview last Friday 10am PST and the woman I was interviewing with was on the east coast 12pm EST.

The interview went really well and she told me to keep in touch, but she said she will be out of work next week for a family trip, so I will hear back the following week.

I didn’t send a thank you email since I’m assuming since it was a Friday I wouldn’t want to send it a couple hours later, 3/4pm ish. I really want to send a thank you email, would it be smart to do Monday? I didn’t wanna send it right after the interview and seem too eager or send it during a weekend.

I mean a email on Monday is better than nothing right?
