Got a county job, but unsure whether to take it...

I was hired recently as an eligibility worker for a county and it was exciting at first, but the more I research and look at reviews from others that had this position, the more afraid I am to take this job. Case loads are up to 500, people have said its highly stressful, and you gotta deal with some angry folks. I currently do case work and it’s a stressful job, but I manage. I’m afraid I’m gonna jump from bad to worse for a few extra bucks. Has anyone here been an eligibility worker for their local county? Any advice on what I should do? Thanks : )
