So I majored in Art History in college (BA) in 2011 and couldn't afford a Ph.D. after I graduated so I ended up going into marketing. However, a role opened up recently at a local org I would have killed to work at when I graduated. My employment history over the last nine years has had a few gallery/museum/conservation stints here and there but I'm wondering how to cohesively phrase all this stuff together to position myself for the role - do I mainly highlight those art-type roles and place less significance on the marketing stuff (I figure for the marketing roles, I can highlight more content curation-type things)? Does anyone have any good articles about how to do this in a successful way? TIA!
