How to work but without a job?

Hi! I am 17 and I feel like I should be more productive instead of being lazy around the house all the time. I really want to get a job, earn my own money, start saving instead of having to depend on others for income! I feel so unset for life even though my mom wants me to be “set for life” but it feels like im stuck or moving backwards. Is there any ideas you have where I can earn money but not work outside?
