Be honest about being let go from previous job during interview ?

I have an interview In a few days and I have a feeling I will be asked about my last position which I was let go from. Do I be honest about what happened or just make up an excuse and say I didn’t like the job (something like that) and decided to leave and pursue other positions. The job is on my resume because it’s relevant to the type of job I want and what I studied in grad school.
