Due to the nature of my job, I have... Jobs that come in. If a 20 minute job comes in at, 4:55, and I'm off at 5, I guess I'm doing said job. It's not the worst but lately I've been staying past 5 consistently. 10 or more minutes. Which, hey, I'm not commuting home so yay, but it's still immensely frustrating. The worst part is that two of my coworkers work 12-8 and I feel like I'm letting them down if I go home early. For example, just today, a beluge of stuff came in and I did what I coild until 5:30 maybe, but I just had to call it quits. I wasn't getting paid and I'm concerned if I tell my bosses, they'll say something like 'you don't have to stay until then, you can get off at 5 once your current job is done' thoufh I worry that would make my coworkers upset.
Any idea on what to do?
