Recruiter left a message 4 days ago inviting me to discuss a position, but I didn't see the voicemail until tonight. How likely is it that someone has already filled the position?

I am 19 year old student currently looking for work, and have been quite busy applying to various jobs. Some get back to me through email while others get back to me by phone. The problem is that my mother constantly confiscates my phone (she's very authoritarian) which makes it difficult to respond effectively to employers.

On May 20th (Wednesday) I was contacted by an employer, but I literally didn't see it until tonight. I know that technically it's only been two buisiness days since the voicemail, and I plan on returning the call first-thing tomorrow morning, but I still am afraid that I have already been passed up and the job has been given to someone else within those two days of not responding.
