So I'm in a bit of a pickle. I have to move out in about 3 months time, and am going to end up working either a factory job, or a server/bartending job to pay the bills here in SoCal.
That's not going to satisfy me long term though. As such, I've been looking at trades. I'd love to do welding, plumbing, or carpentry. I've tried looking for zero experience jobs, but I can't find anywhere open to hiring me (living in Job Corps housing isn't really an option for my situation).
As such, schooling seems necessary to get my foot in. So is working part/full time feasible while doing trade school? Are there options for online schooling (even partially online) for these trades? How long would I likely have to be in school before I could be considered for hire?
Any insight is really, really appreciated.
