Can I ask my boss for a small bonus because my commute is going to be longer now that the business is moving?

I work in a small business and we are moving outside of the city to the east bay due to the building we currently reside in will be undergoing renovations. My commute is now going to be 30 minutes longer and my travel expenses has doubled due to this new commute.

I'm excited for the move but am not so excited for the higher transportation costs and longer commute. Can I ask my boss for some kind of compensation? I have a gut feeling a raise is inappropriate as I just received one end of last year. I wouldn't mind a bonus of some sort to buy myself a bike.
