Is it better to have recent experience in a field but not allow potential managers to contact my previous job or to tweak your resume but without recent experience?
In my last job, I didn't leave my job, which was at a restaurant, with a good relationship with my manager. I'm not really sure what she would say me because I was easily one of her best workers. I didn't cause any problems with any coworkers and customers and usually produced good results. I was good enough to become shift manager. It was in the transition to becoming a shift manager when I noticed that things did not sit well with me. I did not leave in a overdramatic fashion but just one moment where I wish I could have handled better. I can provide with details in them comments if you want. However, what should I do? I want to get into a restaurant because I need a job that has little wear-and-tear on my body. But I also only had two jobs and the other job was a warehouse. Thank you for the advice.
