Went through grueling rounds of interviews to be told verbally that I got the job, then HR reached out to me to move forward. Later I was told that the position has been reposted, with no explanation. 6 months later, I was called by HR again, asking if I still am available for the job and would move forward within a few weeks. After a few weeks, I emailed requesting to move forward and was told it was again reposted. No explanation, and my references say they weren't even contacted yet. The most upsetting moment of my life, as my field has few jobs. What do you think happened?
