1 Job Offer, 1 Pending Offer – Renege?

Job A:

• Interview – Last Week, Monday
• Phone Call Offer – This Week, Monday
• Formal Offer Letter – Tuesday Evening
• Negotiation – Wednesday
• Revised Job Offer – Today

I’m trying to leverage this job offer to get a job offer at another company (Job B) but I’m running out of time. Job A wants me to start ASAP and I need to sign the job offer by noon tomorrow at the latest or risk losing it.

Job B:

• Interview – Last Week, Friday
• Leveraged Job A’s Offer, and Second Phone Interview – Wednesday
• Confirmed and sent 4 References – Today

Job B said I’m one of the top two candidates. But they have not said anything today, so I worry if I’ll get an offer before EOB tomorrow. This is my preferred job choice.

I’m thinking now I might just sign the job offer anyways (at-will employee) and then renege if the offer comes in later. I don't know what's the best thing to do, please advise!
