A few weeks back I stumbled upon an offer for a position which I was really interested in and applied well after the date at which the position supposedly needed filling.
I heard back from recruiters which had transmitted my resume and cover letter to the “CEO” is the organisation. Said man booked an interview with me over the phone, despite being quite busy–dude has his own Wikipedia page and I’m a newbie.
The interview went rather well. He spoke most of the time but he was really specific about the responsibilities which he thought I could take on and we both answered each other’s every questions, I feel. Although, I did not really like that it was over the phone, both because appearance matters so much and because something about being home makes me less quick and proper with language. Anyway.
At the end of the interview, he suggested I come around to meet the team. He didn’t call it another interview but he didn’t hire me on the spot, either.
I guess it’s a good sign and I guess I have to be: on time, well-dressed, and making a good impression on everyone else.
What do you guys think? I’m taking any suggestions at this point :D
