I work at small part manufacturing plant, and have recently undertaken a challenging project from plant manager. There is a certain part we produce every so often thats extremely difficult and costly. Plant man wants to outsource the work to company overseas, and wants I to make them conformence instructions for how to make the part. I need help?
The pre-existing instructions I have for reference are extremely specific and jargon-heavy. The manager wants to me simplify it to make it more appealing to the overseas company. I am pretty clear on what they are looking for, and its like taking a book on tax code and trying to revise it so its plain enough for 6th grader.
I have tried so hard to do best with it, and I cut to where its just rules, but manager isnt happy with the length and asked me to redo it. I am happy to help more, but do not feel I can revise down anymore. Please help?
