Over the past few months, I’ve had this feeling in my gut that my colleagues do not want me around anymore.
It’s like I’m left in my own separate world. My boss didn’t think I was suited for my role after 3 years and transferred me to new position that plays to strength. However, it’s still a constant battle as I do not have the tools and support to what I need to do. I’ve been taking classes on my own for a year and half to get better in Data Analytics.
I have a performance in the next two weeks because I didn’t communicate timely on a presentation I was working on and did not get to him until the day of. I tried for 60 hours straight to make his 300mb excel work for me but I couldn’t get it done to the last minute. I never told my boss because our relationship is pretty toxic (well, that’s how I feel at least).
, I had to flu on a business trip in Europe. It was that bad. However, I could not sleep and took NyQuil. Out of all of the meetings I had, I missed one of them and reached out to the other party to reschedule. A couple of days my boss and I get into about how it is my fault and being sick with the flu is no excuse. Another example is when he critiqued an out of office auto reply about to use of a word, and how I did not spell and used the word properly. We went back and forth until I shared with him and screenshot of the definition and an example use case for the word in question.
