I got my bachelor's degree 4 months and I've been looking for jobs ever since. I've had some interviews but nothing has panned out so far. I've applied to pretty much every type of entry level job that I can think of. One of my mom's friend just told me to apply for a part time teller job at the bank she works at so it looks like I might finally get a job. This doesn't put me at ease though. I know that I should be grateful and ecstatic that I'm going to start working, but it feels like I'm a failure because I got my degree and all I was able to get with it is a part time job that pays minimum wage. After I start working as a bank teller where can I even go from there? My earning potential seems very low and I don't know how I'd go about trying to start a different career path. I don't want to just go with the flow and take a series of mediocre positions that I don't care about for the rest of my life. What should I do? Should I try to break into a more lucrative field like web development somehow? How would I go about learning the skills needed to achieve that?
