Job Promotion?

Hello everyone,

I am currently working as a tier 3 helpdesk support analyst. I was just offered another position/promotion as a system admin for our software. However I am pretty comfortable with where I am and that I do feel that I am reaching the peak of the job I have now. The sys admin position will be a lot more challenging along with more on call weeks with may be a 10% raise from where I am now. I do know that if I were to stay where I am it would lead me to a managerial position for the helpdesk however I do not want to be a manager. I am unsure on what to do that it brings up the question whether I want to be in IT anymore as well. Any advice is much appreciated!
