I’m thinking of quitting for this other job

Basically I work for a restaurant/ bar and I clean tables around. I have very low hours so I looked for another job and I found one. They are thinking of hiring me but in case they do, how might I leave the first job without much time to see face to face. This is my first time quitting and the people are super nice but I’m desperate for hours. How can I quit or should I just not show up anymore?
