Received a cold email from a potential employer: legit or scam?

I received an email this morning from someone who said they saw my profile on Indeed and invited me to apply for a position. This is a first for me so I'm not certain if it's legit or how to proceed. The company they claim to work for has a working website and the position does appear on their Careers page...

Has any had this experience? Did it turn out to be a scam?

Edit: This person does not in fact work for the company. They work for something called TheJobApplication.com. Is this a recruiter? I've never seen anything like this before so I'm not sure how to handle this.
