Any advice here is appreciated. So, I just got a very sudden job offer and the new job is one I’ve been waiting for for a long time because it offers amazing pay and benefits. The new job wants me to start in four days. However I still currently have a part time job at a small restaurant. I’ve only been at this job for two months but they’ve become very reliant on me as a worker which is why I feel so bad for leaving. I know I have to quit on the spot within the next few day but don’t know how to stay it. There’s no way for for me to wait it out two weeks. I’m thinking of saying this in an email: “As of today I will no longer work for the company. I sincerely apologize for leaving on such short notice and for the inconvenience but given the circumstances I couldn’t give a two weeks notice. Thank you for my time here and I hope I can leave things on good terms.” Even though I’ll be quitting on the spot I want to do my best to say thank you anyways.
