So I worked in a warehouse. I got hired immediately after the interview and they told me to show up in 2 days ready to work.
I showed up, everything is going fine. That morning I ate 2 burritos, very spicy, before work. When I was at work at first I was feeling fine, then a couple hours later I started feeling dizzy and sick. I went to the rest room 3 times and vomited.
I didn’t want to tell the manager I was feeling sick because I didn’t want to be sent home in my first day.
I was packaging some boxes and my manager told me he was going to go to a quick meeting and that I need to finish the remaining boxes. I finished them and then waited, he took longer than usually and I didn’t know what do to. So I saw a chair and sat there because I wasn’t feeling well and was waiting for him.
He came back and then gave me instructions in what to do next.
Next day, I show up, I get called to my managers manager office and told I’m fired because they saw me sitting doing nothing and going to the restroom a lot probably to avoid working. I explained I was puking and was feeling sick, they didn’t believe me and told me I’m done working there.
