I just graduated from Penn State with a B.S. in electrical engineering. After interning twice with Fortune 100 company and I just recently made the self discovery that I don't want to be part of the corporate world. I loved my time tutoring, and leading study groups in college. Overall, I love working people face to face. I've travelled for family reasons growing up, and I would love to actually plant myself out of the USA to work in a career.
I'd have thought there would be a demand for STEM-related teaching jobs in grade schools but I haven't found anything promising. All I can stumble across are thousands of those "teach overseas!" "Programs" which all look kind of sketchy. And despite applying for several, many weeks ago, haven't heard anything back.
Looking for some guidance.
