What do you think are the best certifications to have for the best cost?

I keep reading posts about over priced education, useless degrees that aren't worth the investment. For a 35 year old who is absolutely fucking sick of his career and lack of job stability, with no family to take care of, no house to pay the mortgage on, debt free, excellent physical condition, and with over $50,000 in savings.... I'm looking for job security, something where I'm on my feet, and something I can retire on eventually. It doesn't have to make me rich - I know that ship has sailed. I mean just some certification that will get me something that isnt' a total scam that costs me my savings.
