Hey everyone. So I could need some advice for job hunting.
I'm from Europe, and I have a masters degree in English. I graduated last fall. After graduation I've been struggling with mental health issues, I've felt completely burnt out. Now I am feeling better and I want to get my life back on track. I've spent much time thinking about what I want to do. I am currently doing an internship with an international organization. They are paying well but I have to say that I don't like it. My boss is terrible and I find this whole networking culture very exhausting (I'm more of an introverted person). The intership ends in roughly two months. So I need to find something to do after that. I am aiming for a full time position. But as I don't have much working experience, I'd take another internship as well.
I am very interested in the field of medical humanities. During my studies I've worked a lot with disabilities as well as narrative therapy. I'd go into counseling or something like that but then again I am by no means a trained medical professional. I enjoy writing a lot. I thought about getting my PhD to become a prof at uni but I just don't feel it, I don't have any passion. Apart from that I love video games. I've send a couple of applications for game writer/narrative design. However the video game industry in my country is not that great. I wouldn't mind going abroad as I speak several languages. I hate translating though. I've also done an internship with a TV station, so that would be an option as well.
If you have any idea what career path could work out for me or if you have any other advice, please let me know. Thank you for your time.
