How much does employers care about social media?

First of all I would just like to say that I'm an idiot because I forgot to set my instagram to private before I started job hunting. I never even thought about recruiters checking instagrams before, but apparently they do this all the time. I don't go on it much and there's nothing really inaproperate on there, but it also doesn't seem professional at all. I post memes from time to time, there are also posts way back from high school with stupid high school me and my stupid friends making sex puns in the comments. And because I don't post a lot, one don't have to scroll far to get to those posts. If a potential recruiter saw my instagram would I be automatically eliminated?
