Help With Firefighting.

Hi My name is Benitt (Pronounced Benny) and I am a 17 year old in Nashville Tennessee. I really want to become a fire fighter but I just dont know how to start. I know I need to have an EMT certification but I dont know how Im suppose to get one. Especially since I want to become a firefighter in Spokane Washington. Are there any Firefighters In washington state who can help me learn how to get started? I would really appreciate it.
