Hi all!
I need a bit of advice for an unusual situation I have come across. A year ago, I worked for a call center in my town for a very large health insurance company, and I loved it! I quit to pursue school, but I'm not finding it as fulfilling as I thought it would be, and would like to go back. Problem is, that company has kind of...partitioned off(?) and dissolved the contract for the company I was outsourcing for previously. So, there are two other projects in the building that are directed through my previous employer, but this particular area is under the new one. Hope that makes sense.
They are currently hiring for the new company that has taken over that part of the building, and they're looking for both agents and supervisors. I gave 5 years to that place, and while I understand that its a new company, and new procedures, I would like to apply to both. I have already applied for the agent position, but how would I apply for the supervisor position? I have leadership qualities on the resume I submitted, but I would really like to highlight them a little more for the supervisor position.
Should I re-do my resume to highlight those skills, or do I let the current resume they have with my other application do the talking? I really think this new company is going to be great, and I wholly believe I'm a great fit, I just need a little guidance.
