I was told that I was shortlisted for a position, but they were going to call tomorrow to setup an interview. Only problem is I'm going to be at a family event tomorrow and won't be able to use my phone. Will the employer look down on it if I call back a few hours later? Maybe even a day later? If so, should I make an excuse to skip the event?
It's a part time job at a fast food chain, if that's important.
