I just left the shittiest job I’ve ever had to work at Walgreens as a Pharmacy Tech while I’m in school for EMT. The manager liked me a lot and basically hired me on the spot of our interview and I start tomorrow. She won’t be there but I’ll be with another manager and she said to just bring regular clothes as I’ll be only doing online training and paperwork.
I don’t expect the day to be long but I want to make a really good impression. I’m really worried because I’m currently sick with I think the flu. Past few days I’ve been sore all over, congested, coughing, and my voice is a little shot. I’ve tried to rest the past 2 days and drink a lot but it’s still pretty bad especially in the morning.
Any advice for me? I’m just not sure what to do and don’t want to make a bad first impression due to me not being at peak performance. Also kind of feel bad coughing all over them but calling out on the first day is not okay to me.
