What do you need for consulting work at home? [Interview]

I applied for some part time tech support but with medical devices with doctors and patients for the weekends. I never did call center/tech support, nor worked at home. Is there anything that is expected for me to own if I was to work from home? Does the company usually supply everything even to part time employees? I have a phone screening about the job in the next few hours so any input from people who do tech support from home would be great.
