I graduated from college in 2017 with a computer science game design degree. The thing is that I'm not a good programmer (and to be honest, I haven't coded ever since I graduated so I don't remember much), so I'm not applying to those jobs as I wouldn't really be qualified at all. I want to be in the gaming industry and become a level designer but I don't have the portfolio yet. So I thought it was be a great idea to applying for QA positions at game companies. While I have gotten one or two interviews, I've been rejected by a majority of those. I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong.
I somewhat accepted that I won't be getting into the gaming industry anytime soon. People around me have been telling me to get a office job...but what is a office job? What do they do? Where do I mainly apply to them? What kinds of jobs can I apply for with my degree and with no work experience? I don't think I can really do any heavy manual labor too...
Sorry for being this clueless/ignorant. I just.. don't really know anything about this. I would really appreciate any help or advice.
