[advice] Can anyone tell me in general what it is like to work in claims in the insurance industry? I would also love to know if I sound qualified or not.

I found a posting for claims in insurance near by where I live and I my current gf says she thinks it would just be me taking calls from angry people all day and be super demoralizing. It pays super well and the qualifications they have listed sound like something I already am possibly over qualified for.

With the accept that I don't have a completed degree. I left school early because I couldn't afford it. But they say minimum qualifications are just a high school diploma.

Should I go for it? and how can I gauge how much of a longshot it is getting that job?
