So I'm interviewing for a job that only has negative reviews on Glassdoor. 3/4 of the reviews were posted on the same day, which is interesting, and half were interns.
During the phone interview I asked about some of the concerns mentioned without referencing the reviews specifically-like management style, teamwork, etc. The owner answered them honestly, which I appreciate, but it definitely seems to align with the complaints.
I want more information and I've found folks on LinkedIn who currently and have worked there. Is it out of line to message them for more insight? It seems like an interesting job and I'm not opposed to a boss with specific expectations, but I'm not looking to hate going to work every day because they're an ass, either.

Is it too weird to connect with folks working at a job I'm interviewing for to get more info?
