Insurance jobs that are NOT commission only or heavy sales?

I worked for a large company who paid for me to get my insurance license. It was a great gig. I worked in Medicare helping people find supplemental plans. I loved it but it was NOT heavy sales. People called ME and I helped them. It was seasonal and the entire time I was there they told me they would keep me because my performance was great. Well, ended up that the company decided to offer existing employees who had been there longer benefits and couldn't keep any new employees. So they laid everyone (who was new) off. They want me to come back next season, but honestly I want to find something closer to home that is permanent. This job allowed me to work from home but if I go back, I have to start all over and work in the office (2 hour commute) and HOPE I get the work from home position again. My question is: What can I do with this license?? Every job I find is 100% commission or heavy sales and cold calling. I don't want to be some private agent, I just want a job that pays me decently and that I can work and come home. I don't want to pressure people and I really enjoyed my job before. Any advice?
