I didnt handshake my interviewing panel?!

I was in an interview for a scholarship programme (my first interview ever). I think the interview went really well until the very end when I didn't shake the interviewing panel's hands. There were 5 people in the panel and I know that in my mind I should've shaken all of their hands..but when I got up I was trying to read their body language and got confused whether they were leaning for a handshake or no, so after an awkward pause I just thanked them and decided to leave. I know this is bad, but will it affect the result of my interview?
