Getting ghosted by a recruiter then hearing from them months later is like getting a random text for an ex

All you can think at first is...what?

I had applied to a job last September and made it through to the second interview. While trying to schedule that second interview, I never heard from them again. After following up via email and phone and hearing nothing, I gave up, just cut my losses, and moved on. Maybe, I wasn’t the right fit and that’s okay. Fast forward to today and another recruiter from the same company reaches out me; initially, I thought it was for one of the other positions I had applied for at the company but NOPE. It was for the one where I was ghosted.

It was funny to read the excuse they came up with to act like everything they did months ago was just a minor fluke. Job searching, man.
