Dishwasher Position Need Help. Chili's

I recently saw an ad for a Dish-washing position at chili's. I applied it for it 2 days ago. Im planning on following up with them tomorrow even though i have heard that following up and calling annoys the hiring manager at times but i'm gonna give it a shot anyways. Im really dedicated to getting this job. If anyone has worked in this position and can provide information Please do. Im 17 years old. How long does a Job usually take to contact you back and when do you know that its time to apply to another job? Thank You. Any Help is appreciated
