After my interview, I received a personalized email from the manager I would be working with stating, "I won’t be moving forward with your application" on November 16th. He provided me some criticism in that email in which I responded expressing genuine curiosity and determination to improve. I also sent personalized thank you emails to the manager and the recruiter for their time.
December 4th, I suddenly receive an email with an offer for the same position I was originally rejected from. The manager personally reached out to me again to congratulate me on accepting the position.
I'm just not quite sure how to respond to this or know what made them change their mind? I'm overall confused and I would like to hear some feedback on what you guys think happened since I haven't really heard of this happening before. All help is greatly appreciated!
