I have been at my new job for 2 1/2 months and for the most part it is going well. This is my first salaried position, the other jobs I have had in/after college were hourly.
It is normal that I still have to add to my time sheet daily and submit it every pay period. I have to record basically when I got into work and when I left, as well as how much time I spent doing each thing at work. Also, if I have not 'clocked in' one day, I will get emails about me failing to complete my daily time sheet.
I know that for hourly this is obviously required so the company knows how much to pay you, but is this also typical of being salaried - having to fill out and submit timesheets?
