So I recently got my mid year review from my boss. It wasn't exactly good. I personally do not agree with it, I'm fairly new (18 months at company) and always received positive feedback before.
During the 6 months of the review, I was on annual leave for a month, broke my elbow and required surgery and just don't feel this has been taken into consideration into reaching certain statistics they wanted. I also received such little training, people who have started after received more and that also does not seem like it has been taken into consideration.
I also have a really tough boss, like many people have left because her standards and expectations just are realistic. I am moving to another team in the new year anyway, so she will not be my manager anymore.
I guess I am asking, how much does one bad mid review weight have on it? Should I think about moving on. Does this usually mean the writing is on the wall and they are taking steps to fire me?
Are there any steps I should take? Write to hr etc, or just let it go?
