My manager today was telling me that I simply didn’t listen to her. And wasn’t performing her action plans perfectly. When I told her I was doing the best I could but maybe she could stop micromanaging me and help me improve with my metrics rather than every second of my day. She wasn’t a fan of me saying that. She advised that HER manager told her to manage me the way she was and had told her that morning the best way to manage the team was to make sure their agents were fearful of their management. I told my manager that’s not a way to get her teams respect. And if she wants me to follow her making me fear her is not going to get results. Our company has 40%+ attrition and absolutely no one walks around with a smile. Fire the one manager and they MIGHT have less people leaving.
